A way to experience and get even closer to the customs and culture of the area through its traditional food.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And this is even more true in the province of <\/span><b>Granada<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">where gastronomy and hospitality play a leading role without a doubt. In its food you can observe a great richness and a mixture of cultures unique in the world. These characteristics have led to the  <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ideal.es\/granada\/201510\/14\/platos-tradicionales-cocina-granadina-20151013170906.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><br \/>\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Granada&#8217;s gastronomy<\/span><br \/>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is one of the most valued in Spain and leaves its visitors completely speechless. <\/span> <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2><b>What is the traditional food of Granada?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Precisely for this reason today we want to offer you a delicious publication in which we will review what is the most typical traditional food of this land. Because Granada is the Alhambra, the Albaycin, the Sierra Nevada and the Costa Tropical. But it is also remoj\u00f3n, alpujarre\u00f1os dishes, stews like the pot of San Ant\u00f3n and special tortillas like the Sacromonte. Be warned, however, that if you continue reading this on an empty stomach you may end up making a quick trip to the fridge.  <\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h3><b>Remoj\u00f3n granadino<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The first typical dish we are going to talk about is the famous &#8220;remoj\u00f3n granadino&#8221;. It is a very refreshing recipe that is also consumed in other places such as Ja\u00e9n and C\u00f3rdoba. This dish is based on the  <\/span><b>olive oil and orange dressing<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. It is usually served as a starter, just before the main course, accompanied by boiled egg, onion and cod.  <\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h3><b>Alpujarre\u00f1o dish<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Can you imagine combining many of the best ingredients from the same place in a single dish? Well, that is the Alpujarre\u00f1o dish.  <\/span><b>A hearty combination that includes &#8220;patatas a lo pobre&#8221;, fried eggs and cured ham from the Alpujarra.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. All this is usually accompanied by blood sausage, chorizo and pork loin. Although the best place to enjoy it is in the Alpujarra, its fame is very great throughout Granada, so it can be ordered almost anywhere in the province.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h3><b>San Anton Pot<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The weekend of San Ant\u00f3n, which is celebrated on January 17, is one of the most important dates for the hospitality industry in Granada. And it is because at that time one of the most traditional dishes of this area of Andalusia is prepared: the pot of San Ant\u00f3n.  <\/span><b>A dish to warm you up<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  and leave the winter cold behind in the most delicious way possible. It is a stew of rice, dried beans and beans that is accompanied by the famous &#8216;pring\u00e1&#8217;, which is a mixture of blood sausage, pork face and other parts of the pig. Absolutely delicious and 100% Grenadian.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h3><b>Other typical dishes from Granada<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Apart from the three dishes mentioned so far, there are many other typical products and traditional dishes of Granada. If we focus on products as such, it is impossible not to highlight the  <\/span><b>caviar from Riofrio<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the shrimp from Motril, the avocado from the Costa Tropical, the beans and artichokes from the <\/span><b>artichokes from La Vega<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  or Segure\u00f1o lamb, among many others.
